Guest: Thomas Bachem
Thomas “Tom” Bachem is a passionate entrepreneur, investor and founder of several startups and initiatives, including sevenload, Lebenslauf.com and the German Startups Association. Being an avid coder and designer since his early youth, he is currently building CODE, a private university educating the software developers, digital designers and entrepreneurs of tomorrow.
CODE: We believe that higher education needs an update. That’s why we’re currently building CODE, a private state-recognized University of Applied Sciences in Berlin educating the software developers, digital designers and entrepreneurs of tomorrow. While most universities are stuck with traditional lecture-based, linear and grade-oriented ways of learning, CODE is all about individual challenge-based learning. Our unique Bachelor programs incorporate several modern educational concepts like competency- and project-based learning, flipped classroom, mastery learning and P2P learning.
